SCARBOROUGH — It’s going to be an exciting week at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. And, with three events in a four-day span, there will be something exciting for everyone.
The summer stretch includes the midway point of the popular Thursday Thunder series on Thursday, NASCAR Nite on Saturday and the second installment of Day of Destruction on Sunday evening.
On Thursday night at 7 p.m., all eight divisions from Thursday Thunder will wage battle on the track and championship battles heat up through the middle of summer. At the conclusion of the two-hour, action-packed program, every driver from every car in every division will be on track to meet and greet fans during the Thursday Thunder Autograph Hour.
After welcoming the Pro All Stars Series last weekend, the teams of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series are back at it this Saturday night at for another championship round of racing in the Pro Series, Sport Series and Wildcat divisions. Qualifying rounds, and the valuable points they offer title contenders, begin at 7 p.m.
And, finally, on Sunday evening at 6 p.m., a unique brand of motorsports chaos invades the speedway for the second of three Day of Destruction events. The first one in May sold out well before the start of the event, with fans packing the grandstands for spectator drags, backwards races, and our own wild version of a demolition derby.
