Steve Masse of Bellingham, Mass., won the Beech Ridge 100 on Saturday night for his first career Valenti Modified Racing Series win at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The win was the second of the season for Masse and the sixth of his career.
Masse was followed to the checkered flag by Anthony Nocella of Woburn, Mass., and Chris Pasteryak of Lisbon, Conn. It was the first VMRS series event at Beech Ridge since 2011.
In NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action, Alan Tardiff of Lyman, Maine, won the 40-lap Pro Series main event. Matt Dow (Sport Series), Jon Brill (Wildcat) and Dave Cameron (Road Runner) also scored feature victories.
Beech Ridge returns to action with a three-day weekend Aug. 8-10. VIP Thursday Thunder hits the track on Thursday, Aug. 8, followed by Round 2 of Car Wars on Friday, Aug. 9. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series is back to continue the race to the championships at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10.
