Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Mass., took the lead on a late restart and then held off three other challengers to win the ACT Late Model Tour Beech Ridge 150 on Saturday night, August 10.
The win was the first at Beech Ridge for the longtime NASCAR K&N Pro Series East competitor.
Joey Polewarczyk Jr. finished second, while rookie Bobby Therrien and Maine driver Travis Stearns also hounded MacDonald to the checkered flag. Jimmy Hebert rounded out the Top-5.
Earlier in the night, Bobby Timmons of Windham took the lead with five laps remaining and went on to record his first Pro Series victory of the 2013 season. Jason Curtis scored his first career Sport Series win, while Dan Bean (Wildcat) and Dave Cameron (Road Runner) also earned feature wins.
The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series is back in action this Saturday night, August 24, with Autograph Night beginning at 6:30 p.m.
