The Fourth Of July week gets kickstarted this week at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, with the four race events in an eight-day span.
The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series takes center stage with their biggest event of the season — the Pro Series 100 on Saturday, June 29, at 6:30 p.m. The race shares the NASCAR Nite card with a 50-lap Wildcat event. Both the Sport Series and the Road Runners will also be on the track at Beech Ridge Saturday.
As big an event as the Pro Series 100 is for the teams, it’s just a precursor to an action-packed holiday week at Beech Ridge. The Miller Lite American Celebration — which includes a 50-lap Pro Series feature event plus FIREWORKS — takes place on Tuesday, July 2, at 6:30 p.m. The event always draws a huge crowd, so fans are encouraged to arrive early for this one. (NOTE: The rain date for the Miller Lite American Celebration is Wednesday, July 3.)
Two days later, VIP Thursday Thunder returns to the track on July 4 with a special 6 p.m. starting time. A pyrotechnics display will be part of the festivities, and the action will end in plenty of time for fans to head out and enjoy their local fireworks displays across southern Maine.
The action isn’t over yet, as the Pro All-Stars Series Super Late Models make their second trip of the season to Beech Ridge for the Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep 150 on Saturday, July 6. Racing begins at 6 p.m.
